'Wolverine' :Color RMX:

Lore:
This is the actual mech that was used for the promotional poster of the Lightening Foxes. At the time of the illustration, this Wolverine, apply nicknamed "Wolverine", was on field maneuvers in the southern swamps of New Avalon.


Discipline:
Watercolor and ink integration. I love combining these two mediums.

Design Aspects:
You'll noticed that the weapon's turret on the chest is slaved to the head so that where ever the driver looks the turret will follow suit just as in the Cobra and Apache gunships of today.
There's a lot of external mechanics that I removed from the design for the sake of a cleaner design and to give the Wolverine more of a sleeker and agile look while retaining enough of the older mechanics that one would recognize the design.
I added in docking lights (aqua colored low light lamps around the mecha), an updated short barreled rifle with sensor module, as well as various maintenance decals such as beware of blast chevrons and rescue indicators. A major change in this RMX is the addition of an actual head with appropriate sharks teeth scheme on it's muzzle.

Effects:
Some minor lighting reflections on the rifle and environmental effects on the ankles and feet in the form of mud and moss from tromping through murky swamp waters.
